Going grey with pride gave Mia Maugé a midlife career boost

When the model, actress and former music journalist Mia Maugé stopped dyeing her hair at 50, it changed her life in ways she could never have imagined.

But it was encouragement from her teenage daughters to embrace her natural grey hair that made her stop.

“The longer it got... the more settled I felt in my skin,” she says. “That one decision to stop dyeing my hair was the beginning of the elevation of my second act.”

In 2020 she started to document her hair journey on Instagram and found a community of like-minded women.
