The Princess of Wales meets a youngster who takes a shine to her as she supports strong connections in babies' lives

The Princess of Wales appeared to be in her element as she played with babies during a visit to a children’s mental health charity.

Kate beamed as she sat down with a youngster who was playing with a toy car and cooed over a little boy who started sucking her finger.

“You're very smiley,” she told eight-month-old Judah Apraku, who held on to her finger before putting it in his mouth.

The Princess, 43, was greeted by well-wishers as she arrived at the Anna Freud Centre in King’s Cross, London. She has been patron of the charity since 2016.

Looking elegant in a black and white houndstooth Emilia Wickstead belted dress with grey heels, she accessorised with a pair of diamond and sapphire drop earrings - a gift from Prince William before their wedding in 2011.
