With her second baby on the way, Pixie Lott has relocated to her native Essex

Life seems to have come full circle for Pixie Lott. As she prepares to welcome her second child with her husband, the fashion designer Oliver Cheshire, the 34-year-old singer is back where her music career began: in her home town of Brentwood, Essex.

The Cry Me Out singer, who became an overnight sensation at the age of 18 with her No 1 single Mama Do, moved to London at 19.

Last September, she returned home to be closer to her parents, as well as her sister, Charlie-Ann, 37, and her brother, Stephen, 35. And she tells us that “now feels like the perfect time” to settle down closer to the countryside. “With the stage of life we’re in at the moment, it definitely makes sense,” says Pixie, who is “very excited” about becoming a mum for the second time this autumn, having welcomed her first child, Bertie, in October 2023.
