CHILD'S PLAY AT THE RACES

A packed Cheltenham welcomes Zara and Mike Tindall – and their lively son Lucas – for a fun family day out

Zara and Mike Tindall kicked off the New Year with a day at the races alongside their young family including son Lucas, who kept them on their toes by horsing around.

While his parents and sisters watched the action at Cheltenham Racecourse, the four-year-old entertained himself by swinging from the balcony railings in the Royal Box, prompting Zara to have a word with her lively youngest child.

Perhaps demonstrating the perils of being a younger brother to older sisters, blond-haired Lucas was sporting a variety of shades of nail varnish.

Also joining Zara and Mike on New Year's Day were their daughters, Mia, 11, and Lena, seven, as well as their nieces Savannah and Isla Phillips, the teenage daughters of Zara's brother, Peter Phillips, who was there with his fiancee, Harriet Sperling, and Harriet's daughter, Georgina.
