As a public service to our readers, GLOBE is highlighting the incredible $70 billion in abandoned funds languishing in state treasuries across the country — money that could have originated from forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, utility deposits, tax refunds, unclaimed life insurance policies, matured policies and even premium refunds.
