A SHOCKING number of Bigfoot occurrences continues to explode across Northeast Ohio and creature followers believe severe winter storms may be forcing the gigantic hairy monsters out of their normal hiding places. Stunned witnesses — mostly from Portage County and between Akron and Youngstown — are showing photos of massive footprints a whopping 17 inches long that would fit with a critter considerably taller than 7 feet, while others buzz about seeing a hairy phantom looming up to 10 feet tall and hearing spine-chilling screams.
