The Challenges of Leadership Transition
July- August 2023
|UNIQUE TIMES
It is the heyday of business globally. Nearly every kind of business is thriving, and the global economy has reached peaks that it never has in the history of the world
-

Added to all this is the advent of technology. There is no business today which is untouched by technology and as a corollary, there is no core technology business anymore. A financial institution is as much of a technology institution as a software manufacturer. This brings in similarities as well as peculiarities in various industries which require management and leadership focus which are quite detailed. These manifest as management challenges and the leader of today has to face change management issues like she never had to, in the past. As popular management pundit Marshal Goldsmith puts it – “What got you here will not get you there” – the landscape is shifting under our feet.
