BMW iX

BMW as a brand is reinventing itself faster than everything else in its segment. Be it their styling, their interiors, the tech, or the new propulsion systems used - the brand has left no stone unturned in the last 2-3 years.

And while the newer mainstream models have refined the changes, the BMW iX still looks and feels out of this world, just like the day when it arrived.

The iX is a big SUV, almost the size of an X5 and it looks imposing on the road. The styling is bound to split opinions, especially the large grille but that hides a lot of tech inside. It houses the camera, radar, and other sensors behind a transparent outer layer. That transparent layer is actually a self-healing polyurethane coating which can automatically get rid of minor scratches overnight. The iX is built on BMW's famous CLAR platform and has a carbon core which is visible in areas such as the door frame and the boot-lid area. The rest of it is high-strength steel and recycled aluminium.
