From innovation to acceleration

The 13th Annual Manufacturing Today Conference & Awards, held on September 26th, 2025, at the Sofitel Mumbai BKC, served as a pivotal platform for industrial thought leadership.

Presented by Havells and powered by SAP, and organised by Manufacturing Today, the event celebrated the convergence of technology and production, highlighting tangible success stories and charting a path for manufacturing excellence.

The guiding theme, “Innovate. Integrate. Accelerate: Building India's Manufacturing Future,” underscored India's ambition to become a global manufacturing powerhouse through digitalisation, sustainability, and resilient supply chains. The day comprised a dynamic conference segment for knowledge transfer and a prestigious evening awards gala recognizing industry pioneers.

The proceedings began with networking, followed by opening remarks from Sujatha Vishnuraj, Editor of Manufacturing Today, and welcome addresses from Rahul Sequeira, Managing Director, and Bibhor Shrivastava, Managing Director-Events, both from ITP Media (India). Bibhor Shrivastava, MD Events, ITP Group, emphasized manufacturing’s critical role in the Indian economy, projecting a 4.26% GDP contribution for 2024-2025 with significant growth by 2030. He highlighted ITP Media's journey and the industry's evolution, stressing the need to attract young talent by making manufacturing an appealing career choice through glamorisation and competitive compensation. Shrivastava asserted India’s global engineering prowess and its capacity to lead in manufacturing through digitalisation and automation, calling for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
