Ecomondo 2025 raises awareness with roadshow

ITALIAN Exhibition Group (IEG) has been taking its Ecomondo expo on the road, with three international stops in Egypt, Serbia, and Poland ahead of the main event in November (4 to 7) in Rimini, Italy. The roadshow - which has already been to Cairo in Egypt and is headed for Belgrade in Serbia and Warsaw in Poland this month - aims to broaden the reach of the green, blue, and circular economy exhibition and strengthen connections between Italian companies and foreign markets.

The initiative, announced from the Rimini Expo Centre, seeks to give a preview of the content and technologies that will be showcased at the main Ecomondo event in November. The tour will also create networking opportunities and engagement with high-profile international operators and buyers.

The first stop was in Cairo on July 8 and was a collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Egypt, the Italian Embassy, and the Italian Trade Agency. The focus of the event was on the water cycle, bioenergy in agriculture, waste management, and energy efficiency, all key areas in Egypt's National Climate Strategy 2050. The event included themed sessions and business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Egyptian stakeholders and Italian companies, building on the success of last year's Ecomondo, where an Egyptian delegation of 40 top buyers held over 400 B2B meetings.
