Farmers in the UK are having to change where and what crops they grow due to rising temperatures, shifting rainfall patterns, and prolonged periods of dry weather that are the result of climate change.

In the county of Devon in south-west England, a region famed for its wet and dreary landscapes, farmers were now choosing to grow nuts due to the soaring temperatures.
Inspired by a trip to subSaharan Africa, where he saw some "interesting agroecological combinations", Guy Singh-Watson was one of these trailblazers, according to the Euronews website.
Singh-Watson had planted 20ha of walnut and hazelnut trees on his farm in Devon.
