'Rock and Roll' aircraft auctioned off!

An enduring symbol of rock 'n' roll- the private jet belonging to the iconic singer Elvis Presley furnished with cosy red velvet seats, a microwave, and old-fashioned styling, was auctioned off in Florida on his 88th birthday.

Priscilla Presley, his former wife, was present at the sale and witnessed the Lockheed L-1329 JetStar aircraft bidding. She excitedly told the attendees and bidders that Elvis was passionate about planes, and this was one of them. The bidding for the aeroplane started at $100,000 before it was finally sold for $286,000.
