-
It’s been about two and a half years since Daikin acquired Citizen industries Ltd. How has this redefined the HVAC journey for both companies with the constantly evolving technologies in the industry?
Daikin is the leading HVAC company in the world. They have brought their latest systems, processes, and technology to Citizen Industries Pvt Ltd (CIPL).
Post the acquisition, CIPL has not only grown the product range in the last two years and modernised the factories with improved machiners and processes but also grown by 2.6 times in revenue in the same period. On the other hand, Daikin India now offers bundled solutions to customers that include chillers, AHU’s, fan coil units, BMS or VRV Systems, AHU’s, etc. Customers prefer this one-stop solution approach since it is a win-win strategy.
Could you tell us about the core products offered by Citizen, specifically focusing on AHUs (Air Handling Units) and Smart AHUs?
The key products offered by CIPL are:
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Smart AHUs
• Air washers
• Air Scrubbers – Wet or Dry type
• Treated Fresh Air Units (TFAs)
• Heat Recovery AHUs
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Ventilation & Exhaust units
AHUs – These are offered in 25mm, 43mm or 50mm thick profiles with PUF or Mineral wool insulation.
