American Express relocated and improved its Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to address issues with overcrowding and enhance the customer experience

AFTER YEARS of overcrowding and frustration, American Express has opened the doors to a brand-new Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This longawaited debut marked the culmination of an ambitious project designed to solve a problem that has plagued Amex’s top cardholders for years. Following my arrival from Taipei and before my connection to Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to see the new lounge during peak rush hour.

LOCATION

Near the airy atrium of the main terminal hall, The Centurion Lounge perches on the mezzanine overlooking the runways outside and restaurants below. An elevator takes visitors up to reception.
