Dr Asha Bhandarkar, Adviser HR, T-Hub: Globally, India has one of the lowest women participation in the work force. In Japan, many women have decided not to marry. Sweden is one of the most evolved societies. Women should network more, like men do.
Amrita Chaudhary, CEO Co-Founder Gaia Smart Cities: Policy implementation is lagging policy making in India. In India, only 13% of the entrepreneurs are women. There are govt schemes but they are for start-ups and micro-businesses. There are a lot of mompreneurs in tier 2&3 cities. An interesting thing by a company is that it has mandated that everyone should leave office at 6 pm, so that women who leave on time do not feel as underperformers.
