Banking conclave on: Inclusive Growth for Co-operative Banks

A grandiose conclave on the inclusive growth for cooperative banks and the encountering future challenges was successfully organised and convened collaboratively by The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCC&I), Surat and The South Gujarat Cooperative Banks Association Ltd. (SCOBA), Surat on 22nd November, 2025 at the ultra-luxurious Avadh Utopia Resort, Dumas (Surat).

It was proactively attended by more than 450 elite delegates comprised of bankers, industrialists, chartered accountants, lawyers and high profile gentry of the metropolis.

The Chief Guest & Keynote speaker Sh Satish Marathe, Director, RBI, Central Board, Mumbai, in his scholarly speech, embellished the sustained growth of the cooperative banking sector over the past decade by citing corroborative authentic data published in the Central Bank's bulletin. He eulogized the tremendous development of cooperative banks in Gujarat State and proclaimed them as imitable role-model. He also suggested that the regulatory authority study their well-structured setup and exemplary performance.
