Iran War: Why & how it affects India

Iran is neither like Iraq nor Venezuela; and President Trump has made the mortal mistake of underestimating Iran's power.

Venezuela's President was captured overnight and Saddam Hussain eliminated (by George Bush) within a month. Iran's Khamenei was also killed within days; but the cheer of victory stopped there. There were other Khameneis to succeed; and the retaliation to the joint attack of the US and Israel was deadly. All the US bases in the Middle East were battered by Iranian forces; and reports say it would take years for these military bases to be back to normal functioning. Israel, though situated in the other end of the Middle-East map, never dreamt that it would be so viciously attacked by the Iranian drones. Two successive explosions in the US — one in a refinery in Texas and another in a court in Georgia - are suspected to be conducted by the “sleeping cells” of Iran, an extension of Iran’s extremist outfit. President Trump has lost his sleep: in almost all the states of the US, Americans are on the streets to protest against Trump's aggression. Trump's ‘call for peace’ are having no effect.
