Formula E Grand Prix in Hyderabad gave us an opportunity to speak to Mitch Evans, the driver of the Jaguar TCS Racing Team, about the Gen 3 race car, the season, and his expectations for this year's racing.

There has been a big change this year with the introduction of the new Gen 3 car, featuring more power and a smaller size. What are your views on the car’s performance, and how has it changed from the last-generation car?

The new car has brought about significant changes for everyone, both in terms of driving and the team’s effort to master the new hardware. This has proven to be somewhat challenging, and we’re still in the process of fully understanding the car’s capabilities. Additionally, the changes to the tyres and other aspects of the car have made it feel like a vehicle from a completely different racing category.
