ALTHOUGH PART of what RM Sotheby’s has dubbed The Bavarian Legends Collection, this M1 is a highly significant machine in its own right. It has formed a key component of a private BMW museum for many years, but now this glorious example of the Giugiaro-penned supercar will be offered by the auction house at the end of this month.
