YOU WOULD HAVE to be a real die-hard Ferrari enthusiast to spot the visual differences between the 330 GTC and its direct replacement, the 365 GTC. Both were coachbuilt by Pininfarina and the big giveaway is the 365’s lack of air vents on the front wings, arguably giving it a less fussy look.
As the name suggests, the single overhead-cam Colombo V12 increased in size from 4.0 to 4.4 litres, increasing power to 320bhp. More important than this peak, however, was the far superior mid-range pull of the engine, making the 365 more effective and enjoyable to drive) in most situations.
