Remu Screening Bucketlifts efficiency
December 2024 - January 2025
|Earthmoving Equipment Magazine
A Remu Screening Bucket has allowed a civil industry company repurpose materials, breaking down soil and separating valuable components for reuse or sale.
-
New South Wales-based LJD Civil specialises in large-scale civil projects, backed by a fleet of more than 28 pieces of equipment supporting projects across the state.
It recently added a Remu Screening Bucket to the fleet, stationed at the business' yard on the Hawkesbury, where it turns waste into reusable materials, significantly reducing disposal costs.
And it's become a valuable inclusion. By repurposing the materials, the bucket allows LJD Civil to cut down on tip fees, which are a major expense for civil contractors.
Preparation of topsoil, composting, and recycling are the most common applications of screening buckets. The screened fraction obtained can be classified as a clean, high-quality soil free of oversize stone and other debris.
Buckets can also be used to mix sand, clay and compost to achieve the desired consistency required for a specific use.
