Rovanperä's Rally Chile Victory is His Fourth This Season

Toyota managed their fifth one-two finish as well, closing the gap with Hyundai in the manufacturers' championship

THE RALLY CHILE IS A new addition to the World Rally Championship (WRC) roster, having been included since 2019, but the next three years were cancelled or not held for various reasons.

So, this year was only the third running of the event and this was the first time Ott Tänak didn't win the rally, as Kalle Rovanperä clinched victory. However, it was the second time the Toyota team won the rally, both times with different types of Toyota Yaris cars.
