The well-known Czech brand, Škoda, has completed 25 years in India. As we celebrate the silver jubilee with them, we take a walk down memory lane and look at the milestones that cemented their success in the country

BACK IN JANUARY 2000, ŠKODA AUTO INDIA laid the foundation stone for their manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (erstwhile Aurangabad). Since then, the Czech carmaker has come a long way in the Indian market, with valueoriented offerings striking a chord with the Indian customers.

Incidentally, they were the first among the Volkswagen Group brands to establish a presence in India.
