A DECADE OF YOUTHFUL INNOVATION

WITH PARTICIPATION BY OVER 60 student teams from across the country, the milestone 10th edition of Formula Bharat came to a remarkable conclusion as the competition celebrated 10 years of excellence in student engineering. This underscores the competition’s scale and growing impact on engineering education. The landmark edition delivered several firsts for India’s engineering and mobility ecosystem, reinforcing Formula Bharat’s position as a recognised platform for innovation, performance, and industry collaboration.

Formula Bharat 2026 brought together the country’s brightest and most promising student engineers, top academic institutions, and industry leaders, supported by sponsors, partners, and government bodies, providing a platform to showcase innovation in design, manufacturing, and next-generation mobility technologies. Across both categories, the teams demonstrated excellence through rigorous static and dynamic evaluations, including engineering design, cost, business presentations, and on-track performance events.

imageIn tune with the times, Formula Bharat featured both Combustion and Electric categories, with exceptional performances witnessed across categories, highlighting the growing technical depth, professionalism, and maturity of student engineering teams in India.

In the Combustion category, the winner was Camber Racing — SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, with the second place going to Eclipse Racing – Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai, and the third to Ikshvaku Racing — The National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru.
