THE KTM 390 ADVENTURE, THE 390 SMC R, AND THE 390 ENDURO were all showcased at EICMA with stunning reception for the entire range.

The new KTM 390 Adventure features a radical design and looks hardcore. The Adventure R was also showcased, equipped with a 21inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. It has an adjustable WP fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike is loaded with electronics and features such as LED headlights, colour TFT display, quick-shifter, traction control, and cruise control.

What continues to impress me is how eager this motor is to play, regardless of where you are or what you are doing. Pin it on a highway on-ramp and the single winds up with a proper snarl that eggs you on to keep wringing it out. The liquid-cooled 452-cc motor delivers its 40 Nm of torque at a usable 5,500 rpm, which means the meat of the power is always within easy reach.
