We had to cook the perfect recipe for our 4th anniversary celebration but before that, it was a prerequisite to source all the right ingredients. A couple of fast Audis running on different energy solutions (RS e-Tron GT and RS Q8), an F1 track at our disposal and the presence of someone with Icon Stardom like Allu Arjun. We had all the right ingredients. It was now time to cook. It was now time to celebrate.

Soon after landing at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, Ramesh Somani, our Editor-in-chief and Allu Arjun , both went hysterical around the racetrack. Fast cars and a racetrack do that to enthusiasts. Flamboyant on screen and off it, the ‘unbendable’ star from the Telugu film industry, Allu Arjun has become a familiar face around the whole country. The raging success of ‘Pushpa’ certainly added fan to the flames and before anyone could realize, Arjun’s popularity spread like wildfire.

Since you’re reading BBC TopGear India and not a tabloid, this story doesn’t revolve around Arjun and his movie career. It revolves around cars. Fast ones at that. “I could feel the blood rushing to my face” exclaimed Arjun after returning to the pits. It had been a blistering evening around the famed F1 circuit situated right in the middle of the land of Emirates. Shortly after roistering around the racetrack, RS and Arjun indulged in a passionate conversation fuelled by the love for cars and this is how it unfolded:
