MG is one of the most-loved British car brands, enjoying legions of fans the world over, thanks to a rich history stretching back to the 1920s. With MG celebrating its centenary this year, we're looking at the marque's past, its present in producing greatvalue EVs such as the MG4, and the future, which promises pure electric thrills via the striking Cyberster.
Our first instalment of a two-part special (keep your eyes peeled for the second part in September) features a deep dive into the MG Cyberster's design, including a comparison with the iconic MGB, one of the most famous models from the company's 100-year history. We'll also be exploring where MG is right now with its commercial director, and visiting two UK-based facilities that play a crucial role in shaping the company's products.

MG is on the rise. As you'll soon read in this special AE with our Cyberster deep dive (page 40), there are exciting plans for the future, while the MGB in that same feature demonstrates the great history the brand has to leverage. But what about the here and now? What does MG mean to UK buyers currently in the market, and how well does the current range cater for consumers' needs?
To find out, we went to Paul Rigby MG in Redditch, Worcs - part of MG's growing dealer network - to meet up with perhaps the person best qualified to take us through what's going on at the firm currently and each of the cars in the current line-up, bar the ageing MG3.
