Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has announced that Satyakam Arya, Managing Director & CEO of DICV, will assume the role of President & CEO at Hino Motors effective April 01, 2026, marking a defining moment in Indian leadership's ascent to global prominence in the commercial vehicle industry.

The appointment comes under the ARCHION joint venture between Daimler Truck and Toyota Motor Corporation, which integrates Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors into a unified entity headquartered in Tokyo. Arya's leadership trajectory at BharatBenz, spanning 15 transformative years, has been instrumental in shaping the brand from a challenger to a trusted name synonymous with performance, safety, and reliability.
