This January the world gathered to witness an exquisite showcase of resilience and future of textile in Interior Design.

The highly successful Heimtextil 2025, held between January 13-16, 2025, at the exhibition halls of the Messe Frankfurt complex, attracted thousands of buyers, exhibitors and industry professionals from around the world.

Despite economic challenges, the event attracted over 50,000 buyers from 142 nations and featured 3,000+ exhibitors, which was a significant increase in participation compared to previous years. The fair established its position as the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, with a strong focus on AI-driven design, sustainable production processes and future interior trends.

GLOBAL REACH AND MARKET RESILIENCE

In the face of fluctuating consumer spending, Heimtextil recorded a 10 per cent increase in visitors, reaching 96 per cent of exhibitors from outside Germany. The fair saw exhibitors from key textile-producing countries such as China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Visitor numbers also grew in markets including Argentina, France, India, Japan, South Korea, the US and the UAE. These increases reflect the growing demand for trade fairs as essential platforms for business development, despite the global economic landscape.
