Futuristic and avant-garde, the collection keeps up with his signature combination of Western wear-inspired gowns with South Asian influences of the sari and lehenga, usage of artisanal Indian woven textiles such as Banarasi brocades and the nuanced play between fluidly sculpting drapery and letting it flow.

This central idea has informed Gupta's practice and is possibly the reason for his meteoric rise in the fashion world in the past few years. He has brought a sense of slickness to couture for Western-themed wedding affairs like cocktails and reception parties.
