KATIE INGRAM steered her own home-bred Hollyhatch High Hopes to victory at BE90.

The eight-year-old mare was born the day after Katie returned from competing another horse at Badminton's grassroots championship in 2017 and Katie's wish is that her aptly named successor, Hope, will earn her a return ticket.
"She's not been easy, but this is our second year at BE90 and everything seems to be coming together now," said New Forest-based Katie, who works full-time for her family's commercial vehicle hire business and, as a hobby, breeds around five foals a year combining New Forest and thoroughbred bloodlines.
