Ghislaine Maxwell’s arrest puts the spotlight on her celeb pals – including an embattled Prince Andrew

For more than a year, Ghislaine Maxwell has been the most wanted woman in the world.

Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, the 58-year-old Oxford-educated daughter of disgraced media mogul Robert Maxwell was arrested when the FBI swarmed the rural New Hampshire property she’d recently bought for $1.4 million in cash.

Ghislaine was cuffed while wearing trackies and “barely registering” what had happened.

As Woman’s Day went to press, she was incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, waiting to appear in front of a judge in relation to alleged sex crimes, conspiracy, and perjury involving her one-time boyfriend and dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Ghislaine is accused of grooming underage girls – who were mostly forced to masquerade as masseuses – for Epstein and his powerful friends. Epstein, 66, died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell last year while awaiting trial on federal charges of sexually abusing underage girls and running a sex trafficking ring.
