KARL'S BABY JOY! ‘I LOVE HER SO MUCH ALREADY!'

The TV host has revealed he’s going to be a better dad this time around

Standing in a chic black dress and cradling her baby bump, Jasmine Stefanovic looked more than ready to give birth to her first daughter last week.

And while at the time of going to press Jasmine was eagerly awaiting her little girl’s arrival, Woman’s Day sources believe she was expected to go into hospital at the weekend for a C-section and that husband Karl Stefanovic could be giving his new baby her first cuddle already!

“The countdown is on,” Jasmine, 36, wrote excitedly alongside the photo.

With the shoe designer preparing herself for an exciting few weeks, Karl is also readying himself to not only usher in his new baby girl, but a whole fresh start for his family.

“I can’t wait,” he says. “I was always very excited about the prospect of having a baby.”

The 45-year-old Today host – who shares three children, Jackson, 20, Ava, 15, and River, 13, with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, 49 – says this time he’s got the chance to do things a bit differently.

“I’m going to be a bit slower, but I think slower might be a good thing.”

The veteran journalist says he doesn’t have the anxiety of progressing his career this time around and can really focus on being a dad.
