A new addition with my Full House win

Sitting on the sofa with our new rescue cat, Clover, I smiled as I gave her lots of love and attention. It was September 2019 – a few months earlier, I’d won £1,000 while playing online bingo, and chose to get a new addition to the family.

I had been a member of Woman’s Own Bingo since January 2011, and one of my favourite things about the sitewas catching up with my chatroom friends. We’d share stories about our everyday life. I myself was married to Duncan, 43, and had three grown-up children.

We’d even chat about work, give each other tips for the bingo games and cheered each other on whenever there was a win. I’ve made so many friends.

Time to myself

Then, one Wednesday evening in July last year, with our dinner slowly simmering away in the background, Duncan and I decided to have a moment to ourselves.
