Drama as family bans baby mama from memorial service and funeral of slain Jozi FM DJ
RAMA erupted before the memorial service and funeral of Jozi FMDJ and former Generations actor Mandla Hlatshwayo (40), who was recently shot dead outside a pub in Soweto. This was after his fiancée and baby mama, Khombi Ngubane (25), was apparently told by Mandla’s family to stay away from the proceedings.
ENGAGEMENT AND LOBOLA Speaking to move!, Khombi, who has a 11-month old baby boy with Mandla, says that she was hurt by what Mandla’s family did to her even though she defied them and attended the memorial service. “I have no idea why the family is isolating my son. We just want to be a part of his send-off and for the family to acknowledge my baby,” she says.
