Producer swaps the studio for the kitchen at his restaurant
HE IS known for turning rough gems into diamonds and has proven that by producing hit songs for yesteryear musicians. Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala made a mark in Mzansi as a musician and producer for the likes of musicians Yvonne Chaka Chaka, the late Brenda Fassie and Senyaka Kekana.
He also uncovered the talent of Oscar Mgudlwa, who became known as Madluphuthu, who released a series of comedy movies.

Chicco recently opened up a unique trendy restaurant in Diepkloof Zone 5, Soweto. His eatery is called Lapeng, and it is situated right in the heart of his neighbourhood.
