ACTING was one of the things that Uzalo actress Nomcebo Gumede always wanted to do. Even though her parents were against it, she had to convince them to come watch her on one of the theatre shows she had starred in. They were very pleased and convinced why she wanted to be an entertainer. Now Nomcebo explains her journey to stardom, even though she is leaving Uzalo again to venture into new things.

LEAVING ON A GOOD NOTE

She plays the character of Mumsy who is quite a mouthful. She is a pastor’s daughter, who is dating the biggest thug on the show, Mastermind. On top of that, she is a troublemaker and an unruly and fearless woman.
