As movie promotions are an integral part of a project now, how do you decide on the looks sported by actors during promotion?

We usually go with different and easier looks for promotions since the schedule is always hectic. As promotions are always just before the movie release, I try to avoid replicating any look from the movie to avoid killing the novelty of the look. It’s all team work—once the clothes are decided, the hair and make-up team, along with the actors, decide what look works best for that day.

What projects are you working on currently?

I’ve just wrapped up Gully Boys with Alia Bhatt. I’m simultaneously working with her on Brahmastra and Kalank.
