Between June and September, Oman’s Dhofar region transforms from arid desert into fertile greenery. Barren slopes turn into lush emerald hills and lakes and waterfalls seem to sprout up everywhere. Salalah is Oman’s second largest city and also the region's capital. It is the home of frankincense. On lazy days, relax on white sandy beaches while spotting a dolphin or two.
