For the majority of her childhood, Shibani grew up in London, Australia and Africa. In 2001, she moved to New York and began working in the American television industry. There she hosted three national television shows – Namaste America, V Desi and The Asian Variety Show. In these shows, she introduced several of Bollywood’s biggest celebrities to American audiences and also hosted An Evening with Shah Rukh Khan in Atlantic City.

The ethereal beauty cast a spell on the Indian audience in the summer of 2011 when she debuted in IPL season 4. Despite being new in the cricket field and working with experienced anchors by her side, she made sure that she did everything right.
