What type of caravan, and what model, did you purchase?

A Buccaneer Schooner.

Where did you purchase it from?

We imported it ourselves from the United Kingdom.

What made you choose this particular caravan?

We have been motorhoming in Europe a couple of times, and were impressed by the quality interior and high standard of the caravans.

We then came into contact with Glossop Caravans, in Manchester in the UK. We were there in March 2014 and had a wonderful experience; we were treated very well by them and the support we receive from them is wonderful.

I still use them whenever I import any accessories.

Have you owned other caravans before? If so, what models?

Yes, we have had Jurgens Penta, Exclusives, Oryx, and also an Explorer in the past.

Have you customised your caravan?

We had movers installed, and replaced the cold-water-only shower outside with a hot and cold shower for washing dishes?. Everything was installed by Glossop.

I have installed a Panasonic Inverter air conditioner, a Pure sine inverter, added two more solar panels (the caravan comes standard with one solar panel) and a second TV in the bedroom area (the caravan comes standard with one TV in the lounge area).

What are your must-have items when caravanning?
