Never have we been so confused. It’s aim is to impress the creative kinds, but it can also dish out some impressive gaming power
-

There’s three options that come in the Envy guise and we have the middle champ with a Full HD resolution and Intel’s Core i7 10th gen processor which costs ₹1,49,999. The top-spec is fitted with a 4k touch display and will set you back a cool ₹1,69,999.
Take a look at the specs and the price of the options on offer and it soon starts to make sense. HP has given us a value-for-money baby. It looks tasty, although not as hot as the Spectre series from HP, but exudes class and simplicity. The shiny aluminium look makes it stand out from the regular crop of laptops.
The punchy 15.6in Full HD screen has a peak brightness of 300nits and is quite sharp. It’s decent for movies, but HP would argue it’s made better for productivity apps. Even the few games we ran on it looked vibrant.
The meaty, 1.4mm slightly springy travel of the keys is brilliant and makes most Windows rivals feel a bit like a flat beer on a sunny Sunday afternoon. You also get a three-intensity backlight and a large-ish trackpad.
With the Core i7 CPU and 16GB of RAM this is a productive powerhouse. Don’t edit video, make music or do deep edits on 100MB images? The version with an i5 and same amount of RAM will do the trick for a lot less money.
