The book of Zen
September2020
|Stuff India
The ZenBook series from Asus has matured like fine wine and that seems to prove deleterious to the competition

It’s fair to say we’re positively enamoured with the new ZenBook’s understated cool. This octogenarian is still as slick and sharp as a razor. The brouhaha this time is all about fitting in almost all the IO ports reasonably required for work to fit into a 13.9mm body weighing in just 1.13kgs.
While the weight, rather the lack of it has always been a strong point, there’s more. Apart from making the ZenBook effortless to carry and work with, there’s been other tweaks that contribute to it being the perfect work machine. The edge-to-edge keyboard makes typing out reviews and mails an absolute joy.
With a battery life to last you more than a whopping 20 hours and the Intel Core i7 -1065G7 processor under the hood with 16GBs of RAM, this puppy works and how! It’s not going to let you down no matter what you throw at it. It’s one of those work laptops you never really bother to ‘Switch off’ if you know what we mean.
It’s not all work and no play with the ZenBook either. The NanoEdge display is surrounded by super slim bezels with a 90% body to screen ratio which makes your Netflix binges absolutely enjoyable. It gets to 300nits of brightness too and with Harman/ Kardon audio under the hood, there’s not much left out except a cheeky headphone jack.
