Practising safety on board the boat is also important – nobody wants to miss out on a dive due to a mishap on the boat before the dive even starts. Watch for these common causes of injuries, and take steps to avoid them.
TRIPS, SLIPS AND FALLS
Trips and falls are a common hazard, but you can easily avoid them by following these few simple tips.
• Keep your gear stowed and appropriately secured.
• Always watch for possible trip or slip hazards (especially in wet storage areas).
