The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is now seven weeks old. Apart from the Mumbai Indians (MI), the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have also been eliminated from the playoffs race. The Gujarat Titans (GT) sealed their berth in the top four by defeating the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Gujarat have 18 points from 12 matches and Lucknow 16 from as many games. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) complete the top four with 14 points each, but Bangalore have only one game in hand. The Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS) have 12 points, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have 10 points each.
