New Bhoy delighted to sign for Celtic

- TONY CONNELLY

LIFE IS SUCH SWEET SORO

ISMAILA Soro can’t wait to pull on the Hoops and play for Celtic after finalising his move to the Scottish champions.

The 21-year-old Ivorian became Neil Lennon’s second signing of the January transfer window, following on from Polish striker Patryk Klimala who arrived two weeks ago.

Having passed his medical last week, Soro’s move to Celtic was completed on Monday shortly after he touched down in Glasgow.

Speaking exclusively to the Celtic View, the new Bhoy explained what the move means to him. “I am so excited to be here,” said Soro. “There were other options, but as soon I heard Celtic, my mind was made up. I was so happy to hear Celtic were interested in signing me. I’m really happy to be here. When I was told Celtic were interested I didn’t need to hear any other options, I only wanted to come here.

“I’m going to give absolutely everything to continue the success here at Celtic. I’ll give everything and more to continue the success this club has achieved. The reception here has given me the desire to go and work even harder for the fans, my team-mates and the manager.”
