Most cyclists have a load of cycling-related stuff that they no longer need, want, or have space for. But at the same time, they’re always steadily accumulating more. Such is life.

Fortunately, there is a way to deal with both of these problems, and that is to attend a cycle jumble. In theory you can sell off your surplus, at the same time generating some spare cash to re-invest. In practice, of course, it doesn’t work quite like that — you’ll sell three things but buy five and probably come home poorer than when you left. But it’s still great fun.
