Scot recovers from crash to take impressive victory

Neah Evans survived a crash in the closing stages to take an impressive victory at the Women’s CiCLE Classic in Melton Mowbray on Sunday as Storey RT strengthened their grip on the Women’s Road Series.
Glasgow-based Evans — who won two medals on the track at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games earlier this year — sprinted home ahead of Sophie Wright (Torelli-Brother) and Nikki Juniper (NJC-Biemme) at the end of the rough, tough 105-kilometre course.
