What you'll be using

When shooting towards the sun, flare can be a problem - particularly if you are using filters. To avoid this, shoot in manual mode and take an image as normal where the flare is visible. Next, place your hand next to the lens to block the sun and remove the flare, getting as little of your hand in the frame as possible. These images can be blended in Photoshop for a perfect result.
