Street photography puts your hand-eye coordination to the test, as vell as your ability to see and frame intriguing situations as they occur in front of you, your ability to perceive light, your camera's technical abilities, and your ability to be comfortable photographing strangers. While there is no substitute for experience, the purpose of this essay is to assist you in improving your technical abilities and camera settings so that things are lot easier for you. With some efforts, you'll feel as if the camera isn't even there once you've mastered these techniques. When done correctly, it appears that all you have are your eyes and the scene in front of you.

Simple Technical Tips To Make Candid Street Photography Easier

Shutter Speed Priority Mode Camera Setting

Aperture priority mode is ideal for landscapes, architecture, portraiture, and other situations where a shallow depth of field is desired. You can use Aperture, Shutter, or Manual mode in any situation if you're skilled enough with them. However, if you're taking street photos, it's recommended using Shutter Priority Mode. The most difficult task is to freeze motion in a scene while keeping the vital features sharp, which requires the proper shutter speed settings. Manual settings can be effective, but let the camera do the job of determining the appropriate aperture. While you want to be able to modify your camera's settings, you don't want to have to do so every time you shift your direction. It can be inconvenient to change the settings every time you are pointed into the sun one second and into the shade side of the street the next. Manual mode, on the other hand, can be useful in situations where the illumination is quite consistent.
